Gina Ochoa

Gina Ochoa has extensive experience in communications and public relations, currently serving as the Representante de la Secretaría General de la OEA en Ecuador and a Senior Communications Specialist at the Organización de los Estados Americanos since June 2003. In this role, Gina leads the review process of publications, oversees the OAS Visual Identity Guide, and develops outreach strategies to enhance the organization's visibility among international audiences. Previous positions held at OAS include Partnerships & Engagement Specialist and Communications Specialist, where Gina facilitated public relations campaigns, organized policy roundtables, and managed various communications initiatives. Prior to OAS, Gina worked in premium services at American Airlines, focusing on customer service for frequent travelers. Gina holds an MA in Communications from The Johns Hopkins University and a BA in Communications & Journalism from Universidad de La Sabana.
