Brian Backlund

Brian Backlund has a significant work history in the sales and medical field. Brian started their career as a Territory Sales Manager for UCB Pharma in 2001 and remained in the position until 2008. Afterwards, they joined Allergan as a Facial Aesthetics Business Development Manager from 2008 to 2011, and later became a Surgical Sales Representative from 2011 to 2012. Brian then worked at Shire Pharmaceuticals as an Account Manager for Regenerative Medicine from 2012 to 2014. Brian then joined MiMedx as an Account Executive from 2014 to 2022, where they sold amniotic tissue to various medical specialties. Within MiMedx, they also held the role of Regional Sales Director for the Desert Southwest from 2016 to 2022. Most recently, Brian joined StimLabs as an Area Sales Manager in 2022, before moving on to their current position as a Regional Sales Manager at Organogenesis.

Brian Backlund obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Cell and Molecular Biology from the University of Washington, where they attended from 1991 to 1995. In addition to their undergraduate studies, Brian Backlund was part of the University of Washington's 1991 National Champions, although the field of study for this achievement is not specified. Brian also obtained several certifications through LinkedIn, including Coaching Employees through Difficult Situations, Developing a Service Mindset, Enhancing Resilience, and Being Positive at Work, which were all acquired in either March or April of 2020.
