Jumana Alhamdi

Jumana Alhamdi has a diverse work experience in the field of scientific research and engineering.

Jumana is currently working as a Scientist at Organogenesis since October 2022.

Prior to that, they served as a Senior Scientist Lead at Genalyte, Inc. from May 2021 to October 2022.

From August 2018 to May 2021, Jumana worked as a Senior Scientist at Tempo Therapeutics Inc.

Jumana also has experience as a Graduate Research and Teaching Assistant at the University of Connecticut from August 2015 to July 2018.

Jumana was a Research Trainee at Harvard-MIT Health Sciences and Technology from July 2014 to July 2015.

Jumana's early work experience includes serving as a Medical Engineer for AISPO (Italian Association for Solidarity among People) & PRT (Provincial Reconstruction Team) from August 2009 to August 2011, where they maintained and supervised the Mobile Surgical Unit (MSU) and assisted in reconstructive surgeries.

Jumana Alhamdi has a diverse education history. Jumana began their educational journey at the College of Electrical and Electronic Techniques, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Medical Device engineering from 2005 to 2009.

To further enhance their knowledge and skills, Jumana pursued a Master's degree in medical device at UC San Diego from 2012 to 2014. During this time, they also completed a Professional Business management certificate in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services from the University of California San Diego extension.

Motivated to delve deeper into their field, Jumana went on to pursue a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) at the University of Connecticut from 2015 to 2018. Jumana'sfocus of study during this program was Biomedical/Medical Engineering.
