Makoto Shiraishi

Makoto Shiraishi has extensive work experience in the field of intellectual property and patents. Makoto is currently working as the Sr. Manager, IP at Moderna Enzymatics since March 2023. Prior to that, they held multiple roles at OriCiro Genomics, Inc., including Intellectual Property Manager and Business Development Manager from January 2022 to March 2023, and Intellectual Property Manager from October 2021 to December 2021.

Before joining OriCiro Genomics, Inc., Makoto worked as a Senior Patent Attorney at TMI Associates from July 2008 to September 2021. Makoto also worked as a Patent Attorney at TOKYO EIWA PATENT ATTORNEYS from 2007 to 2008 and at YUASA and HARA from 2004 to 2007.

Earlier in their career, Makoto worked as a Researcher (Skincare) at L'Oréal from 2002 to 2004.

Makoto Shiraishi pursued a Bachelor of Agriculture degree at The University of Tokyo from 1997 to 2002. Later, Makoto obtained a Master of Science degree at the National University of Singapore, completing the program in 2020. No specific field of study was provided for either degree.
