Ulf Buchert

Ulf Buchert possesses extensive experience in the hospitality and travel industries, with a notable focus on luxury train operations and river cruises. Currently serving as an Executive Member of the Train Advisory Committee for Orient Express since January 2022, Ulf plays a key role in various aspects such as legal advisement, operational procedures, and service logistics for the La Dolce Vita project. Previously, Ulf held positions including Hotel Manager at River Advise, Director of Operations at Lotus Cruises, and co-owner of multiple dining establishments in Bangkok. An early career at Eastern & Oriental Express provided foundational expertise in passenger services and operational management, complemented by managerial roles at various prestigious hotels. Ulf holds a Bachelor's Degree in Hotel Management Service & Kitchen and an Associate's Degree in Home Economics & Social Care.
