Puneet Gupta

Puneet Gupta has over 16 years of experience in trade finance and banking. Currently, they are the Chief Manager at the Trade Finance Department in North India for Punjab. Puneet also served as the Imports Head at the Trade Finance Department in Oriental Bank of Commerce. Puneet started their career at IDBI Bank as an Assistant Manager, where they processed trade finance transactions and dealt with the treasury department. Puneet also worked as a Manager in Trade Finance at HDFC Bank and as a Clerical staff member at Citibank India. Throughout their career, Puneet has demonstrated proficiency in various banking functions, including branch management and client relationship management.

Puneet Gupta's education history begins with their Bachelor's degree in International Business Finance Honors from Jamia Millia Islamia. Puneet pursued this degree from 1998 to 2001. Following this, they completed their Master's degree in Financial Management from Pondicherry University between 2001 and 2003.

In 2007, Puneet enrolled at the Indian Institute of Banking & Finance, where they obtained various certificates in banking courses, including CAIIB, JAIIB, AML & KYC, and Trade Finance. Puneet continued their studies at the institute until 2019.
