Yuriy Vasiyarov

Yuriy Vasiyarov is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in overseeing IT organizations and driving technological innovation across various industries. As the Group CTO at Zood since January 2020, Yuriy has successfully led the transformation of the company from an e-commerce platform to a comprehensive lending ecosystem, scaling the product delivery team from 40 to 150 employees and improving IT platform stability. Prior to Zood, Yuriy served as CTO at Ozon.Travel, where the entire IT organization was rebuilt, and mobile applications were re-launched. Yuriy's career also includes significant roles at Lazada Group, where leadership responsibilities encompassed engineering quality and the establishment of a large TechHub in Russia. With a strong foundation in software development and engineering management, Yuriy possesses a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Ulyanovsk State Technical University.
