Thomas Ekberg

Thomas Ekberg has a diverse and successful work experience spanning several industries. Thomas began their career at the Swedish Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong as a part-time researcher. Thomas then moved on to H&M as a Retail Merchandising Manager, focusing on strategic trading and distribution. After that, they joined OPTIMA Batteries as a Regional Manager in Asia, where they were responsible for sales and marketing in the region. Thomas then transitioned to Åhléns AB as Managing Director of the Far East subsidiary, leading a team and managing international operations. Following this, they joined Oriflame Cosmetics, holding various senior executive roles including Managing Director in Indonesia, Managing Director in India, and Senior Vice President and Head of Asia. Thomas also served as the Senior Vice President and Head of EMEA, overseeing the company's operations in 30 countries. Most recently, they have been serving as the Senior Vice President Global Business Area Asia and Executive Vice President & General Manager China at Oriflame Cosmetics.

Thomas Ekberg completed their Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Business Administration and Management, General at Stockholm University from 1989 to 1993. Thomas also spent a brief period in 1993 at Hong Kong Baptist University, where they pursued the same degree and field of study.
