Karla Dias

Karla Dias serves as the Head of Procurement at Origem Energia since September 2023, leading a team of 22 and overseeing a significant annual budget exceeding R$750M for Capex and Opex projects. Karla co-founded Associação Gol de Ouro, a non-profit organization supporting over 200 underprivileged children in Queimados, Rio de Janeiro, and also co-founded RX5 Imagem Odontologica Ltda, managing financial operations for its two units. Previously, Karla held positions at ExxonMobil, including Contracts Lead and Local Content Advisor, where responsibilities encompassed contract management and local content compliance for operational blocks in Brazil. Prior career roles also include Procurement & Supply Chain Engineer at Enauta, Procurement Manager at Petra Energia, and Commercial Manager at SGS, with an early background in technical purchasing at Embraer and Hamilton Sundstrand. Karla holds an Engineer’s Degree in Petroleum Engineering from Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro and has pursued extensive education in petroleum and mechanical engineering.
