Giselle Nevarez

Giselle Nevarez is a Sustaining Engineer at OriGen Biomedical, with prior experience as a PD Engineering Intern. Nevarez served as Secretary at El Paso Leadership Network, where responsibilities included managing logistics and external communication for executive directors. Additional roles include New Product Development Engineer at Medtronic, where contributions involved reviewing customer feedback methodologies, and Product Development Co-Op at Kyocera Medical Technologies, where technical drawings of surgical instruments were designed. Nevarez also worked as a Tutor for Equal Opportunity in Engineering, enhancing the academic performance of underrepresented students, and participated in a research team at the Medical Center of the Americas Foundation focused on telesurgery equipment. Nevarez holds a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin.
