Antti Koponen is a highly experienced chemical engineer with a focus on process development and manufacturing technology in the chemical and biotechnology sectors. Currently serving as Lead Chemical Engineer Activist at Origin by Ocean since February 2024, Antti previously contributed as a Process Engineer at Again, specializing in downstream process development for fermentation processes utilizing CO2 emissions. Prior roles include Process R&D Engineer at International Flavors & Fragrances, where expertise in ion exchange and industrial chromatography was developed, and Manufacturing Technology Engineer at DuPont Nutrition & Biosciences, with similar responsibilities. Antti's career began in enzyme manufacturing at Roal Oy, progressing from Process Operator to Shift Supervisor. Antti holds a Master of Engineering in Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology from Turku University of Applied Sciences and a Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering from Metropolia University of Applied Sciences, along with other relevant qualifications.
