Aakash Sembey

Aakash Sembey is an experienced professional in the energy sector, currently serving as the Manager of Industry Regulations & Network Relations at Origin Energy since November 2021, where responsibilities include managing energy industry reforms, stakeholder relations, and regulatory changes. Aakash is also a member of the CDR Advisory (CSIRO) and B2B Working Group (AEMO). Prior experience includes positions as Head of Retail Regulation at Simply Energy and various roles at AGL Energy, Origin Energy, and LUMO Energy, focusing on regulatory activities and external affairs. Aakash holds a Graduate Certificate in Public Policy & Governance from UNSW and advanced degrees in IT and Engineering from Swinburne University of Technology and Amity School of Engineering and Technology.
