Bianca Sylvester

Bianca Sylvester, GAICD, currently serves as the Head of Carbon Solutions at Origin Energy since October 2022 and is a Board Member of the Australian Alliance for Energy Productivity (A2EP), an organization dedicated to promoting a more energy productive economy. Previously, Bianca held the position of Director of Carbon Markets and Director of Government and Stakeholder Relations at the Clean Energy Finance Corporation, where strategic investments were made to enhance renewable energy and low emissions technologies. Prior experience includes roles as General Manager at the Carbon Market Institute, Co-author and Editor for "Transforming Climate Finance and Green Investment with Blockchains," and as a Carbon Finance Specialist at the World Bank, leading initiatives on carbon markets. Earlier in the career, Bianca worked at J.P. Morgan in Commodities Sales, focusing on environmental, metals, and energy products. Bianca holds a Master’s Degree in Energy and Climate Change from Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies and completed the Company Directors Course at the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
