Kim Hughes

Kim Hughes is an accomplished finance professional with a strong background in the energy sector. Currently serving as the General Manager of Retail Strategy and Finance at Origin Energy since February 2010, Kim has held various leadership roles including Group Manager for Energy Markets Commercial & Finance and Financial Controller for Energy Markets. Responsibilities have included overseeing financial control, management accounting, and variance analysis for the Energy Markets Division, as well as leading corporate accounting teams. Prior experience includes a tenure at KPMG as a Senior Manager in the Financial Services audit and accounting advisory division, specializing in energy, healthcare, and banking industries across both London and Melbourne offices. Kim holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Monash University and is a qualified Chartered Accountant with Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand.
