Michael Ransley

Michael Ransley has extensive experience in the field of data engineering and cloud consulting. Michael has worked as a Principal Data Engineer at Origin Energy since 2019. Prior to that, they worked as a Principal Consultant and Senior Cloud Consultant at CMD Solutions Australia, where they designed and implemented data processing solutions and assisted in cloud migrations and optimizations using AWS and DevOps tools. Michael also served as the CTO at JustNudge Software, where they produced multi-lingual packaged IBM Connections applications and worked with clients in various industries. Additionally, they have held positions such as Cloud Engineer at Melbourne IT, Cloud Migration Architect at MLC Limited, DevOps Engineer at Flight Centre, Infrastructure Architect at IBM, WebSphere Specialist at Cathay Pacific Airways and Barclays Bank, and WebSphere Portal and Process Designer at City University. In these roles, they were responsible for designing and implementing solutions, providing technical support, and working on large-scale projects involving AWS, IBM technologies, and DevOps tools.

Michael Ransley completed their Bachelor of Information Technology degree in Information Systems from QUT (Queensland University of Technology) from 1994 to 1998.
