Robin Gibson

Robin Gibson has over 30 years of work experience in various roles primarily focused on business development, sales, and marketing. They are currently the Director of Business Development at Origin Materials since 2020. Prior to that, they worked at Mitsubishi Chemical Corporation as the Global New Business Development lead from 2015 to 2020. They also founded and served as CEO of Limeco Ltd, a sustainable masonry cement company, from 2010 to 2015. Robin Gibson has also held positions at Croda, Imperial Chemical Industries (ICI), INEOS, Celltech Medeva, and Unilever, where they gained experience in sales, marketing, research and development, and new business development.

Robin Gibson obtained a BSc in Applied Chemistry from The Manchester Metropolitan University in 1994. Continuing with their education, they pursued a PhD in Chemistry at the University of Birmingham from 1994 to 1997.
