Zan Liu

Zan Liu has a diverse and extensive work experience in the technology and research and development field. They began their career at Lummus Technology, where they held various roles such as Senior R&D Engineer, Principal R&D Engineer, and Technology Manager. During their time at Lummus Technology, Zan Liu worked on multiple projects, including the development of Lummus' new FCC platform technology and gasoline alkylation using unconventional feedstock. In 2022, Zan Liu joined Origin Materials as a Technology Manager before being promoted to Technology Director and then Senior Technology Development Director.

Zan Liu completed a PhD in Chemical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology from 2008 to 2013. Prior to that, from 2006 to 2008, Zan Liu obtained a Master's degree in Polymer Chemistry and Physics from Tsinghua University. Zan Liu also holds a Bachelor's degree in Polymer Materials and Engineering from Tsinghua University, which was earned from 2002 to 2006.
