Amanda Gurgel Zorzi

Amanda Gurgel Zorzi has a diverse and extensive work experience. Amanda currently holds the position of Global Director of People at Origin, where they lead the HR management efforts for all departments. Prior to this, they served as the Director of People at Origin and played a key role in building a world-class team after the company raised $56M in series B funding. Amanda also served as the Chief of Staff at Origin, where they were responsible for hiring, onboarding, and culture.

Before joining Origin, Amanda ran two local businesses, a pub and a restaurant, at D'Angelo from 2017 to 2020. Amanda handled various operational activities, customer success, hiring, people management, and finance during their time there. Amanda also prepared the family business for acquisition.

Amanda has experience in the field of operations and finance. Amanda worked as the Head of Operations and Finance at Glio, where they provided financial planning, monitored costs and expenses, and handled customer support. Amanda also served as a Business Analyst at Acelera Partners and held various roles at Affero Lab, including EaD Platform Analyst and Intern. Additionally, they worked as a Project Intern at Descartes Consultoria em TI and as an Intern at the Instituto Gênesis PUC-Rio, where they gained exposure to entrepreneurship and startups.
