Daniel R Carletti has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries.

Daniel R began their career as a Strategic Planning and Information/IT Management Intern at Vale in 2012. Following that, they worked as a SharePoint Consultant at Infobase IT from July 2013 to March 2014.

In April 2014, Daniel joined Accenture Brasil as a System Developer Analyst. During their time there, they served as a functional subject matter expert for Microsoft SharePoint-based applications, managing software enhancements and working on incident/change management.

In 2015, Daniel joined Wine.com.br as a BI Business Analyst. Their responsibilities included data modeling, extracting data from multiple sources, and building performant and efficient views/queries for reports. Later, they also took on the role of Applications Developer (Full), where they focused on building backend systems with complex external dependencies and UX-approved frontends.

From 2018 to 2019, Daniel worked at Grupo Águia Branca as a Digital Businesses and Analytics Analyst. Daniel R was involved in data analysis leverage planning, specifically contributing to a two-year plan aimed at enabling company-wide predictive analytics. During this time, they also worked at Tata Consultancy Services as a Senior IT Architect, specializing in big data and data science infrastructure consulting. Their role involved building integrations for IoT data ingestion into cloud storage.

In 2019, Daniel joined eu sou will as a Senior Data Engineer. This digital bank, formerly known as pag!, operates on an entirely cloud-based (AWS) data infrastructure. Daniel was responsible for designing, implementing, deploying, and maintaining high-volume scalable integrations, primarily using AWS managed services.

Most recently, Daniel worked at CircleUp as a Senior Data Engineer from March 2021 to January 2022. Daniel R collaborated with a fully remote team from around the world, focusing on Spark data pipelines and a data quality API. Daniel R delivered various projects, including asynchronous data integration, a complex data review service, and data processing pipelines utilizing a 1.5PB data lake and complex Airflow DAGs.

In January 2022, Daniel joined Origin as a Data Staff Engineer, contributing their expertise to the company.

Throughout their career, Daniel has demonstrated proficiency in various technologies and frameworks, including Spark, Python/FastAPI, ElasticSearch, CircleCI/GitHub Actions, AWS tools, Docker/Kubernetes, Ruby on Rails, Sidekiq, RSpec, and JavaScript.

Daniel R Carletti has a Master of Business Administration - MBA degree in Business Administration and Management, General from FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas, which they obtained from 2018 to 2019. Prior to that, they studied Computer Engineering at Universidade Federal do Espírito Santo from 2007 to 2013. Daniel R completed their high school education at Hancock Central School from 2005 to 2006. From 2001 to 2005, they attended Colégio Marista Nossa Senhora da Penha.
