Joao De Paula

Joao De Paula is the CTO at Origin. Joao was previously the co-founder and CTO of Glio, a Yelp-like platform that became an cosmetics and perfumes e-commerce marketplace. As co-founder and CTO, they ran product and engineering, focusing on connecting technology, design and business. Joao hired and managed a team of engineers and designers, created tech that automatically created and bade on Google and Facebook ads, assembled internal tools that automated most of the business tasks, built an e-commerce platform that ran A/B tests on each customer, and half the time they dove into the code himself.

Joao De Paula's educational career includes a Bachelor's degree in Law from Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro and a Field in Entrepreneurship/Entrepreneurial Studies from Y Combinator.

Their manager is Matt Watson, Founder, CEO.
