The Role

Origina is seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Senior Regulatory Affairs Strategist. In this global role, you will collaborate with sales, operations, and engineering teams to address customers' regulatory concerns and challenges. You will play a key role in helping them adopt third-party software support (TPSS) while achieving a risk-resilient posture aligned with relevant regulations.

  • Advise and communicate with internal teams and customers on the application of industry regulations such as CRA, DORA, NIS2, and PCI DSS in relation to the provision of TPSS

  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of current and evolving regulatory frameworks across geographies and industries relevant to Origina customers

  • Lead the design, development, and delivery of regulatory services, working closely with Origina teams to create supporting processes and internal training materials

  • Assess complex customer situations, identifying potential service delivery risks, and collaborate on the development of responsive solutions

  • Engage with regulatory bodies to influence the development of new regulations and ensure TPSS is appropriately considered

  • Explore opportunities for new services to support customers and Origina’s business growth while reducing business risk

  • Identify potential partnerships to scale regulatory services globally, maintaining both advisory quality and Origina’s credibility

About you

Successful candidates will possess:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Security, or a related field

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience with NIST and ISO 27001

  • Proven experience in consulting, advising, or delivering solutions in response to evolving regulatory requirements

  • Strong knowledge of regulatory security principles, network security, and the relationship between risk and controls in organisations

  • Expertise in security frameworks, compliance standards, and regulations such as NIST, CRA, DORA, NYDFS, GDPR, and HIPAA

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences

  • Strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative approach to working within teams

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple engagements concurrently and meet deadlines
