Alex Carey

Alex Carey has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in the travel industry. Alex currently serves as the Head of Sales at Original Travel since November 2021. Prior to that, they worked as the Director of UK Operations at Escapes from October 2020 to November 2021. Before that, they held positions at Jacada Travel, where they were the Regional Sales and Product Manager - Europe from May 2019 to August 2020, and the Head of Europe from February 2018 to May 2019. Alex also worked at Kirker Holidays as a Team Manager from November 2015 to January 2018 and as a Senior Reservations Consultant from September 2011 to November 2015. Alex started their career at ISIS Education as a Centre Manager from June 2008 to August 2011, and they also worked as a Spanish Translator at Morote Traducciones from February 2010 to June 2011.

Alex Carey holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in French and History from the University of Leeds (2002-2006) and a Master's degree in Translation in French and Spanish from the University of the West of England (2008-2010).
