Birgitta Bjarnadóttir

Birgitta Bjarnadóttir has accumulated extensive work experience in various management roles throughout their career. Birgitta started as a Purchasing Manager at Oddi printing in 1999 before transitioning to Product Manager at A4 in 2006. Birgitta then moved on to roles in purchasing and product management at Áfengis- og tóbaksverslun ríkisins in 2013. Birgitta later served as Brand Manager and Operation Manager Marketing at Ölgerðin Egill Skallagrimsson from 2016 to 2019. Following this, they held positions as Operations Manager and Board Member at Danól ehf from 2019 to 2023. Currently, they serve as Chief of Operations at Origo Iceland starting in 2023. Their work experience showcases their expertise in operations, marketing, purchasing, and product management.

Birgitta Bjarnadóttir completed their Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and Management from Reykjavik University in 2016. Birgitta went on to earn a Master's degree in Business Administration and Management from Reykjavik University in 2021. Additionally, they obtained a MITx MicroMasters program certificate in Supply Chain Management in 2021 through MITx Courses.
