Hjalti Þórarinsson

Board member from March 2017 and was Chairman of the board from March 2020-2023, Hjalti is a manager at Marel and leads a software department of 230 employees. Hjalti was involved in the founding of the software house Dímon in 1998. Hjalti worked at Microsoft's headquarters for 11 years, where he led business development for artificial intelligence.

Hjalti studied electrical and computer engineering at UI 1995-1998 and completed an MBA from MIT in the USA.
