Georgios Zervas is a Co-founder and CTO at Oriole Networks since April 2023 and a Professor at UCL since December 2016, where roles also include EPSRC Fellow, Associate Professor, and Senior Lecturer. Previous academic positions include Honorary Senior Lecturer and Senior Lecturer at the University of Bristol from November 2012 to November 2017, and Lecturer at the University of Essex from October 2006 to November 2012. Georgios Zervas has held a Visiting Associate Professor position at Keio University in 2015-2016. Research interests encompass optical networks, data centers, reconfigurable computing, and programmable systems, with significant involvement in high-performance networking and various EU/UK funded projects.
