Karen Vejseli

Karen Vejseli is the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and serves as Chairwoman of the Valuation Committee.

Ms. Vejseli brings over 20 years of accounting, tax and operational experience in the asset management industry and served as the CFO of The Carlyle Group, Global Market Strategies, which is a $35 billion credit division. Ms. Vejseli's responsibilities included all aspects of fund and corporate accounting, financial reporting, valuation, deal structuring analysis, tax investor reporting and budgeting / forecasting.

Previously, Ms. Vejseli was also an audit partner at Ernst & Young, spending 14 years serving asset management clients, including private equity firms. Ms. Vejseli spent the last year serving as CFO for a credit focused hedge fund.
