Carlos J. Quinones

Carlos J. Quinones is the Senior Vice President of Global Operations at Orion Engineered Carbons. Carlos has over 20 years of experience in the manufacturing and supply chain industry.

Carlos started their career as an Inspection Engineer at Crown Central Petroleum Corporation from 1990 to 1993. Carlos then joined Rohm and Haas in 1998 as a Plant Manager for their West Alexandria Facility in Adhesives and Sealants. In 2007, they were promoted to Manufacturing and Supply Chain Director for North America PBM. In 2010, they joined Praxair as their Vice President of U.S. Hydrogen Operations and Engineering.

At Orion Engineered Carbons, they are responsible for leading the company's manufacturing sites as well as the central manufacturing excellence team. Carlos has implemented an operational engagement initiative designed to focus on key leading and actionable metrics that allow plants to focus on actionable metrics that impact business performance. Carlos has also implemented a certification program for plant managers and plant superintendents.

Carlos J. Quinones attended Texas A&M University, where they earned a B.S. in Mechanical Enginering Tech. Carlos also attended Texas State Technical College, where they earned an A.A.S. in Welding Metallurgy.
