Senior Web Developer

And this is where you come in.

We’re on the hunt for a self-starting Senior Web Developer who will take charge of our product's User Interface, mentor team members and collaborating with the wider development team and relevant stakeholders. In this pivotal role, you’ll play an important part in the evolution of our product tooling while delivering practical solutions to help our business thrive.

This position is set to start from 1 April 2025.

What will you be doing?

As a Senior Web Developer, you'll take ownership of building the web applications that will be used to deploy and configure our data platform. You'll work closely with the rest of the development team to understand the relevant use cases and craft the optimal user interface and underlying services. You’ll provide a valuable contribution to the evolution of our data platform while supporting the professional growth of others on the team.

• Leading and designing complex web development projects from scratch.
• Balancing innovation with business needs to deliver pragmatic, impactful results.
• Building and maintaining a library of reusable UI components
• Mentoring and guiding junior and mid-level developers to enhance their skills and confidence.
• Developing and maintaining front-end and back-end systems using React, Vue.js, Python, and Node.js.
• Leveraging Docker and Kubernetes for deployment.

What you’ll bring to the table:

• Extensive experience in web development, with a proven ability to deliver high quality web applications.
• Proficiency with React and Vue.js for front-end development.
• Strong back-end skills in Python and Node.js.
• Experience with containerisation tools such as Docker and Kubernetes (advantageous).
• Exceptional communication skills to engage with senior stakeholders and influence decisions effectively.
• A proactive, self-driven mindset with a passion for web development and a pragmatic approach to solving challenges.
• Logical, intelligent thinking and the ability to design elegant, scalable solutions.
• A collaborative attitude with the ability to mentor and uplift others in the team.
