Ruixin Yang

Ruixin Yang has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. In 2013, they worked as a Professional Tutor at Tandem Tuition, where they managed multiple students' educational needs and documented plans and reports. From 2014 to 2018, at BS Engineering, they served as a General Workshop Hand and Draftsman, handling tasks such as part design and drafting using Solidworks, metal cutting, grinding, and workshop maintenance. They also worked at Thermo Fisher Scientific as a Biomanufacturing Technician, contributing to a classified company project, development and scaling, and process standardization contingency planning. In 2018, they joined Cin7 as a Technical Support Specialist, where they provided data insights using machine learning, performed SQL programming and data optimization, and contributed to bug verification and documentation. Currently, since 2020, they are working at Orion Health as a Junior Performance Engineer, involved in the implementation and development of load testing frameworks and the deployment and maintenance of AWS infrastructure using Ansible and CloudFormation.

Ruixin Yang completed a Bachelor's Degree at The University of Auckland from 2009 to 2012, with a double major in Computer Science, Biological Sciences, and Applied Mathematics. Following this, Ruixin Yang pursued a Postgraduate Diploma in Applied Mathematics at The University of Auckland from 2012 to 2013.
