Philip Kemp has worked in the software and systems development industry for over a decade. In 2021, they began working as a Software Developer Team Lead at Orion Network Solutions, Inc., a firm that specializes in Big Data and real-time data collection, processing, and display. Prior to this, they worked at HeartFlow, Inc. from 2015-2021, where they held roles as a Staff Case Analyst, Production Team Lead, and Case Analyst. HeartFlow is a medical technology company that works to transform the way cardiovascular disease is diagnosed and treated.

Philip Kemp obtained a Bachelor's degree in Microbiology, General from San Francisco State University in 2015. In July 2020, they were awarded the Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) certification from the Project Management Institute.
