Sergey Dean

Sergey Dean is a seasoned entrepreneur and investor, currently serving as the Founder and Managing Partner at Orion VC, a UK-based fund specializing in frontier AI investments at the pre-seed and seed stages. As a Co-Founder of xAID, Sergey has been instrumental in developing advanced AI solutions for medical imaging, including technology that detects over 18 pathologies in CT scans. Previous roles include Founder and CEO of Take A Place, a flexible workplace booking solution operational in 30 cities, and Head of AI at Maestra, where Sergey led the development of high-load machine learning and AI solutions for enterprise clients. Sergey also founded Digital Farm and began a professional journey as an Analyst at McKinsey & Company, focusing on diverse sectors such as oil and gas and public transportation. Sergey holds a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from the Higher School of Economics.
