Scott Rutherford

Scott Rutherford is a highly experienced senior director and underwriter in real estate finance, currently serving at ORIX Corporation USA's Real Estate Capital Group since December 2022, while also acting as Director of Structuring and Screening for Lument's Real Estate Investment Strategies since March 2021. Previously, Scott held multiple senior roles at ORIX Corporation USA from January 1999 to March 2021, where responsibilities included managing an $800 million CMBS portfolio and providing critical credit opinions on various real estate debt transactions. Scott's education includes an MBA in Investments and Entrepreneurial Strategy from the SMU Cox School of Business, a BBA in Finance from The University of Texas at Arlington, and certifications in wine studies from Wine & Spirit Education Trust and Wine Scholar Guild.
