M.sc. Steven Scott P. Geo.

Steven Scott, M.Sc., P. Geo., is a seasoned geology professional with extensive experience in mineral exploration and structural geology. Currently serving as Senior Geologist for Global Exploration at Orla Mining Ltd since February 2022, Steven previously consulted for SRK Consulting and held the position of Senior Geologist at McEwen Mining Inc. from October 2017 to January 2021, where leadership of a team of up to 30 geologists facilitated significant advancements in mineral resource exploration. Prior roles include exploration responsibilities at Primero Mining Corp and Brigus Gold Corp, as well as a foundational experience in geological assistance at Vale Inco and De Beers Canada Inc. Steven's education includes a Master of Science in Geology from Carleton University, complemented by a Bachelor of Science with Honours in Earth Sciences.
