Gus Nicoll

VP & COO, Orlando Health Medical Group at Orlando Health

As vice president and chief operations officer of Orlando Health Medical Group, Gus Nicoll has operational oversight of the medical practices and is responsible for aligning strategies, processes, practices and education with Orlando Health’s corporate goals, including customer experience, barrier-free access and a standardized operational approach to clinic workflows. He also works with the operational leaders and management teams within the medical group’s service lines, providing guidance and assistance with issues of operations and leading implementation teams on projects and initiatives.

Gus has a strong background in team leadership in a wide variety of roles and industries, including as a retired U.S. naval officer with 24 years of distinguished service. Most recently, he was COO of the Bon Secours Medical Group in Richmond, Virginia.

In addition to attending the U.S. Navy Fighter Weapons School (TOPGUN), Gus graduated from Yale University in New Haven, Connecticut, with a bachelor’s degree in economics and political science, and earned his MBA from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business in Charlottesville.
