Karen Jensen

SVP, Orlando Health Foundation at Orlando Health

Karen is Vice President of Orlando Health Foundation. She has served in progressive leadership roles since joining the organization in 1995.

Before joining Orlando Health, Karen led fundraising efforts at St. Joseph’s Hospital (Tampa), Burrell Behavioral Health (Springfield, Missouri), East Tennessee State University (Johnson City), Bradley University (Peoria, Illinois) and the University of Tennessee (Knoxville and Chattanooga).

Karen holds a Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) credential. She is a longstanding member of American Fundraising Professionals and the Association of Healthcare Philanthropy. She is a board member and officer for Variety Florida – the Children’s Charity, a volunteer for the Girl Scouts of Citrus, a past president of the Kiwanis Club of East Orlando and a lifetime member of the Women’s Resource Center of Florida. She also is a board member and 2019 chair of the East Orlando Chamber of Commerce.

Karen earned both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in history from the University of Tennessee.
