Tim Harshey

Tim Harshey has extensive experience in risk management and insurance, currently serving as the Manager of Insurance and Claims at Orlando Utilities Commission since November 2007, overseeing a self-insurance program with a $3 billion property schedule and a workers' compensation program for 1,400 employees. Previous roles include serving as VP, Account Executive at USIS, Public Entity Specialist at Public Risk Insurance Agency, and Risk Manager for both the City of Altamonte Springs and the Central Florida Regional Transportation Authority, LYNX. Tim Harshey holds an Associate's degree in Risk Management from the Insurance Institute of America, an MBA in Accounting and Business/Management from UCF College of Business, and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the same institution. Tim Harshey studied at Indiana University Bloomington from 1974 to 1977.
