Rahul Sawant

Rahul Sawant is an experienced Operation Research Scientist II at ORMAE since January 2023, previously serving as an Associate Data Scientist - Optimization at Aera Technology from February 2022 to January 2023. At Aera Technology, responsibilities included end-to-end model building, utilizing operation research techniques to address supply chain network optimization challenges, and creating large-scale dynamic stock deployment models. Prior experience includes the role of Operations Research Analyst at Inquizity, where Rahul contributed to project delivery, client engagement, and the development of tools for manufacturing production planning, employing mixed-integer linear programming for optimization. Rahul began with a background in vehicle dynamics at Red Shift Racing India from May 2016 to June 2018 and holds a Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering and Management from the National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli, as well as a Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering from KJ Somaiya College of Engineering.
