Cary Drake

Cary Drake has over 40 years of work experience in various roles related to sales, business development, and renewable energy. Cary is currently working as the Director of Sales & Business Development at Ormat Technologies, Inc. Since 2013, Cary has been the Principal of their own company, Drake Energy LLC, where they provide personalized consulting services in renewable energy and energy efficiency. Prior to that, they served as the Director of Professional Services at Petra Solar, where they directed the financing and deployment of smart solar solutions. Cary has also held positions at DT Solar, Integrity Mortgage and Financial Services, IBM Global Services, Dow Jones Telerate, and Florida Power & Light, where they gained experience in business development, marketing, and engineering.

Cary Drake obtained an Executive MBA in Business Administration, Management, and Operations from the University of Miami Herbert Business School in 1992. Prior to this, they earned a BSEE degree in Electrical Engineering from Auburn University between 1975 and 1980. Cary Drake also pursued a Master of Science - MS in Industrial Engineering at the University of Miami from 1991 to 1992.
