Maja Sedic

Maja Sedic serves as the Vice President and Head of Preclinical Research at Orna Therapeutics, overseeing nonclinical development in areas such as oncology, autoimmune diseases, and innovative delivery systems. Previously, Maja held senior positions in toxicology at Sanofi and FORMA Therapeutics, where responsibilities included leading nonclinical development for molecular oncology and rare diseases, as well as managing due diligence and safety assessments. With earlier experience at Moderna Therapeutics and MassBiologics, Maja has contributed extensively to various therapeutic areas through toxicology expertise. Maja completed a PhD at Tufts University in Cell, Molecular and Developmental Biology, following a B.S. in Genetics and Molecular Biology from the University of Vermont.
