John Barnes

John Barnes has a diverse work experience in the aviation industry. John worked as Director of Maintenance at Ornge from 2014, and as an Aviation Consultant at John Barnes Consulting since 2012. John also served as Quality Assurance Manager at Chartright Air Group from 2013 to 2014. Prior to that, they were Director of Maintenance and PRM at MRO Venture from 2011 to 2012. John gained significant experience as V.P. Maintenance & Engineering at Skyservice Airlines from 2002 to 2010. John also worked as Director of Maintenance at IMP Group in 2002 and as Director, Technical Services & Aircraft Maintenance at Canada 3000 Airlines Ltd. from 1990 to 2001. John started their career as a Line and Heavy Maintenance Inspector at Monarch Airlines from 1984 to 1987.

John Barnes attended Southall College of Technology from 1974 to 1976. John pursued a degree in Aeronautical Engineering and successfully completed the City & Guilds of London Institute Parts 1, 2, and 3.
