Barry Newman

Barry Newman has a diverse work experience. Barry started their career at Damco in 2006, where they had a student placement in logistical operations for six months. This experience gave him knowledge in freight forwarding using road, sea, and air transportation methods and sparked their interest in the food industry. In 2007, they joined Ornua and worked as a procurement coordinator until 2010. Barry then participated in Ornua's graduate trainee program and worked as a retail account executive. From 2012 to 2015, they served as a sales manager for North Africa. Afterwards, they became the regional manager for North and West Africa until 2018. From 2018 to 2020, they were the regional head for North and Central Africa. Currently, they hold the position of Head of Africa at Ornua.

Barry Newman attended Technological University Dublin from 2003 to 2007, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Transport Operations & Technology. Barry then pursued further education at the Irish Management Institute from 2010 to 2011, focusing on Management & Leadership.
