Praveen Babu

Praveen Babu has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Praveen is currently the Director of Engineering at ORO Labs, a position they have held since 2023. Previously, Praveen worked at Ariba for a significant duration, starting as a Senior Consultant QA Engineer in 2004 and progressing to the role of Senior Manager, Engineering (Quality) from 2014 to 2016. During their time at Ariba, Praveen was responsible for product ownership, leading the engineering team, implementing new processes, and increasing productivity. Praveen also played a key role in test automation, developing frameworks and serving as the quality owner for the Procurement cloud app. Prior to Ariba, Praveen worked as a QA Engineer at Wipro Technologies and as a Programmer at Cyber Prism Ltd.

Praveen Babu completed their Bachelors in Computers from Mahatma Gandhi University between 1997 and 2000. Praveen then pursued a Masters degree in Computer and Information Sciences from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, from 2014 to 2018.
