Hetal Parekh-Olmedo

Ms. Parekh-Olmedo is a Research Associate at the University of Delaware/Delaware Biotechnology Institute, prior to which she was a researcher at Thomas Jefferson University in the field of DNA repair. Ms. Parekh-Olmedo has extensive experience with gene editing technology including overseeing and managing all the projects carried out in the Kmiec laboratory. She interacts extensively with outside collaborators and facilitates scientific and technological development with internal and external collaborations. In addition, Ms. Parekh-Olmedo holds numerous patents relating to oligotherapy and is the co-author of numerous publications on targeted gene alteration. Ms. Parekh-Olmedo also served as a Scientific Advisor to Tapestry Pharmaceuticals.
