David Ridgway

David Ridgway has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. David is currently a Program Manager at Orro Group, a position they have held since May 2021. Before that, they were the Director and business owner of Green Energy Systems (GES) from 2009. At GES, David focused on marketing commercial solar solutions and later expanded into residential and commercial daylighting solutions.

Prior to their role at GES, David worked as the Business Lead, WA for Superloop, an Australian telco company, from January 2020 to April 2021. David was responsible for developing channel partnerships, direct sales strategies, and industry partnerships. From 2017 to 2019, they served as the Government Practice Lead at Dimension Data, where they were responsible for business growth, revenue retention, relationship management, and sales strategies.

David also had a long tenure at Telstra, starting in 2004 as an Account Manager and later becoming the WA State General Manager for the Government & Enterprise Services (GES) business unit. In these roles, they managed key client relationships, sales, and the customer experience, and led the state sales operations.

Before joining Telstra, David worked at Cable&Wireless Worldwide, where they held various Account Manager and Business Development roles. David was responsible for selling telco and ICT solutions in the UK energy sector and to national and multinational oil and gas clients.

Throughout their career, David has demonstrated expertise in business development, sales strategy, relationship management, and revenue growth across multiple industries, including renewable energy, telecommunications, and information technology.

David Ridgway attended the Reading College of Technology from 1979 to 1983. During that time, they pursued a degree in Electronic Engineering, earning an HNC qualification.
