Akshay Prajapati

Akshay Prajapati is a seasoned professional in the field of electrical power systems and grid connection management, currently serving as the Grid Connection - Design & Compliance Manager at Ørsted since February 2022. In this role, Akshay manages grid connection agreements and drives the Grid Code Compliance process. Prior experience includes a significant tenure at National Grid, where Akshay held various positions including Business Development Manager, leading the development of future interconnectors, and Senior Power Systems Engineer, overseeing compliance and technical queries for the UK electricity transmission network. Akshay holds a Master of Science in Electrical Power Systems Engineering from The University of Manchester and a Master of Engineering in Electronic and Communications Engineering from the University of Nottingham, complemented by various roles in leadership and engineering throughout the career.
