Pierre Laurin

Pierre Laurin is the current director at Ortho Regenerative Technologies and has an extensive background in the pharmaceutical industry. Pierre was previously the chairman and CEO of Prometic from 1994 to 2018. During their time at Prometic, they oversaw the development of therapeutics for various unsatisfied clinical conditions. Pierre also played a key role in developing the company's technology for isolating and purifying proteins. This technology is now used by over 40 multinationals for the manufacturing of their own therapeutics.

From 1991 to 1994, Pierre Laurin was the VP of corporate development at Bioniche Life Sciences. In this role, they were responsible for overseeing the company's growth and expansion. Pierre then went on to found Ingenew Pharmaceuticals Inc. in 1994 and served as its chairman until 2018. Ingenew was a successful pharmaceutical company that developed and marketed various drugs for the treatment of cardiovascular diseases.

Since leaving Ingenew, Pierre Laurin has been involved with several startups in the healthcare industry. Pierre is currently a board member of Ortho Regenerative Technologies and the founder and principal of InvHealth Capital Inc., a venture capital firm that invests in healthcare companies.

Pierre Laurin completed a Master of Science in Pharmacy at Université de Montréal, where they studied pharmacology.
