Leo Spector M.D.

Leo Spector MD MBA is an accomplished Orthopaedic Surgeon with extensive experience at OrthoCarolina since August 2006, performing 250 to 300 spine surgeries annually and providing care to over 3,000 patients in a clinical setting each year. As Chief Quality Officer, Leo led initiatives focused on value-based care, including the development of a Coordinated Care Program and partnerships with multiple healthcare systems and payers to enhance patient outcomes. Leo also served as Fellowship Director, improving the training and education of Orthopedic Spine Fellows, and has held an academic position as an Associate Professor of Orthopedic Surgery at Atrium Health. Leo holds an Executive MBA from Duke University and a Doctor of Medicine from UMass Chan Medical School.
