Brett Hassig

Brett Hassig is an experienced engineering professional currently serving as the Director of Engineering at Orthofix since June 2022. Previously, Brett worked at SeaSpine from March 2014 to August 2022, holding positions including Engineering Manager, Lead Project Engineer, and Project Engineer. Prior to that, Brett was a Product Development Engineer at Integra LifeSciences from May 2011 to March 2014, and a Design Engineer at SeaSpine Inc from July 2009 to May 2011. Brett's career began with internships at nanoComposix in 2007 and an earlier internship in summer 2008, focusing on design practices and engineering tasks. Brett holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from UC Santa Barbara, completed in 2009.
