Scott S. Russo

Scott S. Russo serves as the Medical Director at RecoverHealth: Surgery Optimization since July 2023. With extensive experience in orthopaedic medicine, Russo has held the title of Physician at Orthopaedic Associates of Michigan since July 2005 and practiced as an Orthopaedic Surgeon at Orthopaedic and Spine Specialists from December 1999 to July 2005. Prior to that, Russo was the Principal Owner of the Spine Center of West Michigan from August 1992 to November 1999, where the most comprehensive multi-disciplinary approach in western Michigan was developed. Russo began their career as an Orthopaedic Surgeon at Washington Square Orthopaedics from August 1990 to July 1992. Educational qualifications include a Fellowship in Spine Surgery from Southern Illinois University School of Medicine, an Orthopaedic Surgery degree from the Grand Rapids Orthopaedic Residency Program, a Medical Doctor degree from Wayne State University, and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Chemistry from Michigan State University.
