Danielle Bitting Ms

Danielle Bitting MS, OTR/L has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of occupational therapy. Danielle has been working as the Director of Rehabilitation and Occupational Therapist at ONR since October 2021. Prior to that, from May 2021 to October 2021, they served as an Occupational Therapist at Select Rehabilitation.

From November 2020 to May 2021, Danielle worked as an Occupational Therapist at ONR. Before that, they gained valuable experience at Consonus Healthcare, where they held the positions of Director of Rehabilitation from June 2019 to November 2020 and Occupational Therapist from March 2017 to November 2020.

Danielle's career began at Genesis Rehab Services in June 2015, where they worked as an Occupational Therapist and Assistant Director of Rehab from August 2016 to March 2017, and as an Occupational Therapist from June 2015 to March 2017.

Danielle also gained practical experience during their Level II Fieldwork, where they worked as an Occupational Therapy Student. During this time, they independently carried out evaluations and screenings of patients with various physical disabilities and cognitive impairments. Danielle also analyzed and interpreted the results to develop client-focused treatment plans. Additionally, they worked with psychiatric patients, focusing on basic ADLs, leisure exploration, and problem-solving and coping skills.

Danielle's professional journey began as a Rehabilitation Aide at Hallmark Rehabilitation (now Genesis Rehab Services), where they assisted the director of rehab or assistant director of rehab with daily tasks.

Danielle Bitting obtained their Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Occupational Therapy/Therapist from San Jose State University in 2014. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Occupational Therapy/Therapist from the same university in 2013. Danielle also holds additional certifications, including Occupational Therapist Registered (OTR) from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) and Occupational Therapist from the California Board of Occupational Therapy. Danielle is also certified in CPR/BLS by the American Heart Association | American Stroke Association and is a Certified Dementia Practitioner from the National Certification Council for Dementia Practitioners.
